Gavin is talking so much! We just had his 18 month doctors appointment (1.5 months late, I know) and the doctor was so impressed that he has more than 30 words. I did fail to mention that some of those words were Lightning McQueen, Woody and Buzz, but those are still words, right? One of the ways he blows me away daily is how polite he is. I rarely have to remind him to say "pease" or "tank you." I am sure it won't last too much longer since he is entering the terrible twos, but I am just enjoying it while it does last.
The first time Maddie was published I was soooo excited, it was on the front page of the newspaper at the Del Mar Pumpkin Patch. Then I sent her picture into the Save the Tatas website and they used it on their Donate page! Well, the City of El Cajon just used her picture for a safety campaign teaching young children about 9-1-1 and Save the Tatas used her picture again on another page of their website. I can't help but be soooo excited . . . again!
And just in case you missed these ;)
Thanks for letting me brag . . . again!
. . . Binky's! I remember when Maddie was first born and I was dead set against my kids using Binky's. I would hear horror stories of a child waking up hysterical at night because the pacifier fell out of their mouth and they couldn't put it back in. I was so thankful my daughter's soother was on her hand. Now, not so much! Now that I am trying to break both my children of this habit, I am pretty sure I took the wrong route. I am pretty sure tossing the habit in the trash is much easier than the journey I am about to embark on. Anyways, getting off my soap box now, any tips that anyone may have would be much appreciated :)
So I have received a couple of harassing hints, not naming names, that I need to get some updated pictures of the kiddos up. That some people are tired of looking at Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes! So here they are. Maddie in her Sunday best, ready for church and Gavin reading one of his favorite books, Toy Story 2!
Don't you love his little look of concentration! So CUTE!!
No one is a bigger fan of this cupcake than the hubby. He started talking about making these cupcakes for St. Patty's Day like two months ago! I know I have already blogged about these cupcakes before, but I get asked for the recipe every time I make them, so here it is! ENJOY!!
Oh, and just a little praise to Annie. I have tried many, many recipes from this blog and have loved every single one. So browse all her recipes, you won't be disappointed :)
